A romantic sunset stroll along Escriva Drive, ice cream sandwiches, a bench for two, a conversation in the form of sound imitations (that of an electric saw, passing cars, you name it), interlocked hands, pep talk, stolen kisses, warm hugs, and the dont-want-to-go-yet-but-have-got-to-so-goodbye-for-now-txt-you-later look

How strange. Abichica, of chicpress (http://chicpress.wordpress.com/) uses this same picture as has header, and I got her permission ages ago to use at an inspiration for a poem (which is I’m afraid is sill at a very larval stage. Seems you (and Abi) had a similar reaction to this image then.

Love clouds everything so that a couple can relish in each others company…I cherish such moments too!

Coincidentally the image you have shared here is my fav one since more than past ten year.
This one came randomly as a search item while I was searching for something else in google.
Wishing you more such beautiful and memorable evenings Addie.

Do you by any chance happen to have found out who painted this and the title of this painting?

I love the painting. Did you do it?
Escriva Drive? Is that the one in Ortigas? I love that place too
Wishing you more stories like this waiting to be written

Did I paint it? This is a trick question, isn’t it?
Escriva Drive, Ortigas. Have you been to one of the Korean restaurants?

Yes, I tried once. I can’t remember the exact name but it’s near NEDA and Millenia Suites.. And no, I’m not tricking you. It looks like a painting to me.

Jang Ga Nae, maybe. And another one. Plus a Korean grocery store.
Also, the painting’s not mine. if you click on it, you get directed to the source.

Yes it’s Jang Ga Nae! It has a nearby grocery store and beauty salon too. My friends and I were even joking about the pair of scissors they use in slicing the meat dish we ordered. Perhaps during the day the pair of scissors is used in the salon
I’m hoping to be back there

I’m not aware there is a beauty salon. Jang Ga Nae is my favorite Korean restaurant. It just feels so homey. I eat there whenever possible.
